I did a search on this topic and had 3/4 of my questions answered before I decided to broadcast my remaining, unanswered 1/4 question. My Shower hose now leaks..... Yes, found the answer to that one..... after putting on the on off valve...... Yes, found the answer to that one too and yes, Home Depot still carries it for about $4.... so I need a new hose...found that answer too.... and ordered it. Now, my unanswered question....drum roll please...... How does the shower fitting unscrew from the hose? The plastic/resin head screws off the part that fits into the sink head receptical; but, how does the hose unscrew from that? I have 2 days before the hose arrives to get the answer. Has anyone replaced the shower/sink fixture with one that has more readily available replacement parts? If so, please give me info. The hose replacement I'm working/ordered won't be ready to ship from the factory until EARLY Dec.
Lance - I just replaced just the hose/nozzle about four years ago from Fisheries Supply in Seattle, but I don't recall the manufacturer and model, nor have a picture readily available. Pretty sure it's this one:

I replaced mine 3 years ago with one made by Scanvik(spelling might be wrong) but there's a surflo unit in the WM catalog that looks exactly like it. Page 328 of the 09 catalog surflo # 135-0204-cw, WM #5358270 price 189.99. Mine's been working good so far, easy to replace.

:clap Thanks for all the great advice. My shower is back to functioning. Woo-hoo!!! I not only ordered the original hose replacement; but, I also ordered the newer style with new wand to keep as a replacement. Thanks again guys!!!!
