HI, Everyone

At a recent boat show, I obtained pricing for my 1997 C34 MK II for Martec ($1533 for a 15" or $1696 for an 18" 3-blade) and over $2200 for the 3-blade Max-Prop.

Does anyone have a Martec and, if so, how satisfied are you?

For you Max-Prop users, has anyone gotten the Variable Pitch version and, if so, was it worth the extra $400?

I have a 15" 2 blade Martec that I would let go for $400 if you are interested. I was not satisfied with the performance under power although it is excellent under sail.I plan to go to a feathering prop in the future(when my wife lets me spend the money). I've also been asking around some about props. The best value I've come up with looks to be Flex o Fold. They are about $1300 for a three blade. Those have them say they work great in both directions. I haven't done it yet. But if you do, then I'll have to, since we both stand to move up in our fleet. At least I can't get any worse.
