Title: Zincs Disappearing
Post by: leisterf on May 06, 2002, 06:44:40 AM
We are losing our zincs at a very fast rate.  There must be some serious current in the water at our dock.  How do we find out which of the 240 boats docked here has the problem?

Is there any test or device that will help us locate who is not properly grounded?

Perhaps it's time for "sometimes the best offense is a good defense". An isolation transformer would solve your problems right now as well as bringing you a host of other benefits. Chasing through a marina looking for lifted grounds or bad polarities will probably lead you down more than just one slip finger...

What is a isolation transformer and what does it do. I lose zinc at a fairly fast rate also.
