Title: Catalina tank monitors
Post by: Dennisferriello on October 27, 2007, 08:10:26 AM
Catalina is now using our monitors as standard equipt on 309,320,350,387,400 and the 440. I also wanted to say thanks for all the support I have gotten from the C34 members.
Please feel free to email with questions about our units.
I am still offering a very good discount to Catalina owners at this time.

Thanks again.

I retro fitted my holding tank with this brand and am very happy with it.  The price is also reasonable.  I wish my fuel tank was also set up this way instead of that  !""&*%^&$ inaccurate fuel gauge.

Glad that worked for you.  As for the fuel tank, there are many postings on that, and I remain a firm believer in using the engine hour meter.  1/2 gph for M25s, a bit more for larger engines.  20 hours, 10 gallons, pretty simple and avoids the dreaded "oh no, my tank is thinner at the bottom than at the top and the last 1/4 tank seems to burn faster and now I'm out of fuel" syndrome.   :D

Guys : I've posted numerious times that there is NO way that I know of, so you can accurately measure the fluid level in an asemeterical tank!!  "Nature of the beast"!!   :cry4`

On Fuel tanks our Legacy 8 tank will read fuel senders.  We don't make them but we recommend the WEMA SSL fuel sensor and it works perfect with our panel.
Also all our panels, solo and Legacy have a setting in set up that you can set for a hard V tank, Soft V tank, square tank and circular tank. We use our EZ Profile software Algorithm to adjust for odd shape tanks.
Attached is a few brochures.
