Title: Invoice price on boats
Post by: crieders on October 16, 2007, 05:23:11 PM
Any way to find invoice price on new boats. We don't have a Consumer Reports for boats like cars to find that out.

Cliff

Catalina used to put the prices on teh options sheet, posted on the website.  I believe they have stopped doing that and you'll need to talk to a dealer to find out the "starting" price.

Yup, dey ain't karz.

Cliff : I suspect that you'd have to have a GOOD friend that sells Catalina's to find out the dealer price.  I'd suspect that then the markup is between 5 & 10%.
I have heard (reliable source) that Catalina requires most dealers to accept certain models for their inventory - whether they want them or not.   :think
