Title: Paint Color That Matches Mast
Post by: Ron Hill on October 31, 2006, 06:06:04 PM
I answered a post saying that I'd found a touch up paint that matches the MKI white painted mast&boom.  I said that it was "Interlux Bright White" which was wrong!!

I finally got to the boat and found that it was Interlux "Super High Gloss Enamel" # 301 White.  I was able to get it in a 1 pint can. This is a one part paint.
Sorry for the mix up (excuse the senior moment!)  Ron  :clap

Ron, thanks for the correction!  Just changed our order for our upcoming boom painting project.

Ron, my supplier just called asked if the Interlux paint is a traditional marine enamel, the one-part Brightside polyurethane, or the one-part Toplac silicone gloss paints.  The "301" number and nomenclature is confusing them.  Do you recall the product line from Interlux?  Thanks for the help.

Maybe the "Yacht Enamel High Glass White Y1"?

Steve : I quoted you from the label on the Interlux paint can.  Why not call Interlux and ask them!?!
