Title: Alternator Bracket no longer a worry
Post by: Richard Bain on July 22, 2005, 05:17:18 AM
Thanks Stu, Ron and Steve....I have taken your advice and replaced the alternator bracket on Pazzo (86 C34)
Now I can leave tomorrow for The North Channel, knowing if won't break!
Anyone who has an 86...this is a must do project!
Thanks
Rich

Richard

Good work.  I thought maybe you'd say "Now, that wasn't so hard, was it!"

Have a great safe journey, Enjoy!

Richard : You just did the only recall/safety alert that I know of that's been out on the M25 engine.
The only other recall/safety item for your boat is the Wiring Harness Upgrade.  Your 1986 boat is easy to check. If you still have an Ammeter rather than a Voltmeter in the engine instrument panel - it's a dead giveaway that the wiring harness has NOT been done.  This is a real  potential fire hazard.
Just want to give you a "heads up".   :thumb:
