I want to make the shelf for the head described in "Projects," but my boat is in CT and I'm in MN. Does anyone know the dimensions? Particularly, how wide the projection is.

Rick, if you are referring to the shelf railing, I don't off hand have the dimensions, but I can get them this weekend and email you. However, when I did that project, I bought a 4 ft piece of oak shelf rail from Home Depot, finished it, took it to the boat with a hack saw, and cut to dimension on the spot. The shelf railing cuts very easily and the angle, which looks like 90° in the photo is actually more like 110°±.
