Title: underwater prop change

Anyone changed their prop "underwater" lately??
Just wondering, any suggestions, recommendations??

I have changed the prop under water for years.  It is the same as working at the top of the mast.  I use the same tool pouch and don't wear gloves to get in the way. (I assume you will be wearing SCUBA gear).  Back the nut 1/2 way off, install the puller, tighten it until firm and strike the bolt with a firm blow with as large a hammer as you can competently swing under water.  The prop will pop off and you can continue to remove the nut and prop.

Thanks for all the replys.  I'm in a canal with little current, they'll be two of us in SCUBA and hanging my climbing bucket under the work sounds good.
