Title: aft storage

Has anyone modified the area under the helm seat to take advantage of all that space?

I think I have improved it a little by maky a ventilated box around and over the compressor and lowering my larger propane tank by 6 inches and installing it of center further aft giving me more access on the port side for fender storage. I also have a little storage shelf on one side of my tank and forward of it. I like it

I haven't modified the port side space, but I store 6 life jackets in my old AF duffle bag and some fenders. I have the duffle bag on top and handy for emergency. I was boarded by the Coast Guard in a random check and they were impressed how fast I removed the life jackets.
