Thanks for the different posts....still no luck.
I have an 86 with an Alder Barbour fridge. I do not know what the model is...and am having trouble finding a replacement part...
It has two leads, a dial and a line of copper that goes somewhere??
Any help would be great....

I just replaced the control on my unit. I "googled" Adler Barbour and got the number from their web site.I gave them a call and had the replacement part for aprox. 25.00 a few days later.If you can't find their number, let me know @kenheyman.msn.com and I'll email it to you.
