at the end of last year noticed a tiny bit of weeping on my Obendorfer water pump- barely a drop in several hours of motoring. last replaced in 2010. but it says for engine model M30 and M 50, but I believe my model is M35 on my 1997 Universal Westerbeke. I am sure of the model number on the pump I replaced in 2010. and I have yet to contact any local shops in Anacortes for their price and availability. Thought I'd see if any of you have ordered recently, and your details and buying experience.
If it's weeping just service the pump (the oil and water seal and possibly a new shaft).
Ron wrote an article on it DYI or send it to Depco and they'll replace what's necessary (including the carbon bearing if necessary, which is not DIY.)

I called them prior to place the PO, and they claimed they had 10 in stock. They are located in St-Louis, MS. Received the product in approx. 1 week. All good. I installed it and replaced original Sherwood on my 1995 MK1.5 M35A. Easy using the procedure found on Cat34 org. Got the Gasket and spare rubber impeller from Catalina Direct.
