Title: Message Board improvements - down time

You may have noticed a new look in this message board.  Improvements to the message board include the following:

* Tab Tool System - Find common tasks in a familiar tab menu!
* Post Window - A compact post window with a tab tool system!
* Quick Reply - Quick reply with a simple key command!
* Collapsible Categories - Don't read it? Hide it!
* Custom Graemlins - At last! :)

For a complete list of what you can now do on this board and how to do it, click first on "Tools" an then on "Help".  If you still have questions, please feel free to email me.

On Saturday, March 8 at approximately 6 p.m. PT, this board will be down for about two hours.  I hope this will not cause an inconvenience to anybody.

   I think this resource is one of the best things  
about owning a C34 (besides sailing it).

Dave, how do you access the "Collapsible Categories" function?  I usually read everything but cannot find this feature.

Good question.  Since we have not divided our message board into categories, this feature is really not applicable to our board.  Sorry for the confusion.

You cannot attach a file to a message as you can with email.  However, if the file is posted elsewhere on the net you can put in a linked URL.  To include a URL click the URL button to type the URL and title, which will appear as hyperlinked text in your resulting post. Linked URLs will open in a new window when someone clicks on them. Do not use quotation marks within the URL tag.
