Title: Getting your picture on your posts.
Post by: Admin on March 03, 2003, 07:35:40 PM
I recently received an email asking how to get one's picture on posts such as mine is at the left.  Here's how it's done.

1.  Post a picture, no more than 48 pixels by 48 pixels somewhere on the web.  NOte the URL of the picture.

2.  Go to My Space.

3.  Go to Profile.

4. Under Avatar / Picture URL: Click on "Edit"

5.  Click on "Custom Avatar"

6.  Insert the URL of your picture.

Enjoy.

Your internet service (ISP) provider probably provides free web pages for your use.  If not, the most popular is Geocities (http://www.geocities.com).  For a complete list of places that offer free web pages try Freewebspace. (http://www.freewebspace.net/).
