Feb 2015.  I used the same off the shelf riser from CD.  Don't sweat the 1" difference.  If you keep the riser high and use the 8" of HH, perfect alignment is not critical.

Guys : Years ago I talked to Gerry Douglas and got Catalina to only stock the 8" hump hose.
I found that (as Stu said) some stainless risers were made locally instead of at the factory and didn't align up perfectly or were a bit shorter.
The price to Catalina was the same for the 6" as it was for the 8".

We decided the installer could always cut it shorter, but it didn't stretch worth a damn!!

Kable,
Here's how I replaced mine.

This was a great post.  Makes me think I can probably do it myself.
Thanks for all the great info.

kable : When you install your new HUMP hose also check the hose from the exhaust anti-syphon to the nipple on the stainless exhaust riser.  Make sure that hose is nylon reinforced and NOT wire reinforced.

The stiff wire reinforced hose (5/8") transmits all of the vibrations from the engine to that nipple weld causing it to eventually crack!!!    :cry4`

Do you happen to know what hose I should purchase to replace this, if needed?
I pretty much follow your posts since our boats are a few numbers away from each other.

Thanks,

Or use silicone heater hose,  as one member herein did.

I used a silicone hose from the anti syphon loop to the riser. (Thanks Ken!)
