I used Dan's cutlass tool last Spring and it worked great.  Thanks Dan!  It made pulling the prop shaft out and installing the new one possible without dropping the rudder.   BTW, a local prop shop loans their honest to goodness prop puller and it also worked great!  I highly recommend both.

The only thing that always works on an old boat is the owner...
