I am installing a new Schaefer my old one gave up. I have a 1986 34 with an old stay steam 2 furler. It was 30yrs old we sure got our money out of it. My book tells me the cable length std rig is 44'5" that is correct but overall its 45'5"the drum takes up 1' I measured everything be for I started the cable is one piece no turnbuckle. I just got the old one off. Has any one done this before I am looking for some tips. Charlie

Just replaced the stay stream 2 with a Schaefer roller furler. Does any body need marts for a stay stream 2. Charlie
