Microwave Replacement

I have a 1990 C34, Aquila, with a Panasonic microwave mounted over the refridgerator door. The specs show the outside dimensions as 9.5'Hx18"Wx13.25"D. It is not operating properly and I may have to replace it. I have seen lots of discussions about not being able to find a replacement which will fit. I found a LG unit, model LCS0712ST, with the outside dimensions of 10.13"Hx17.9"Wx12.25"D. The critical dimensions seems to be the .63"H difference. Has anyone tried to use this unit and can it be made to fit?

Probably not without a saw. In my opinion, unless your a liveaboard, the space that microwave takes up is to big a sacrifice. Also, you have to ruin that beautiful teak cabinetry.
