Could my boat be twisted?

Another note to self is to be CERTAIN all doors are OPEN before putting on hard.  If the door had been closed, it might have destroyed the door.

Steve : I wouldn't worry absolutely about leaving both door open, as both door frames are at a bulkhead.

Like I previously mentioned - the yard should "sound" the hull and place the jack stands at a bulkhead!!  This minimizes the uneven twisting of the hull.

Since it is on a custom cradle, should they also ensure the pads are at the bulkheads.  They seem to be in the same places as last year, but that does not necessarily mean they were right then. I will check it in the fall when i pull out.

The pads are best at the bulkheads. d You might want to get it modified if it was built incorrectly. There is a diagram in the owners manual of how Catalina suggests it be built.
