What is the wiring diagram for the bilge pump, and float switch?
It's a little confusing since there are two reds and a ground that come from the electrical panel

Cliff the standard color pattern for bilge pumps is red/black/brown (brn for the manual switch position.)
Just use a multimeter to determine which of the red power leads is hot in the "auto" position, and which is hot in the "Man" position.
"Man" hot goes directly to the pump, "auto" hot goes to the float switch, then the pump.

P.S. , once you do figure which is which, mark both ends of the switched (Man) lead with a colored heat shrink, or a label maker and clear heat shrink.
