raytheon st60 speed with signet paddle wheel

(I didn't see anything about this when I searched here).  I have a raytheon st60 speed instrument with a signet paddlewheel.  The paddle has a broken paddle and the speed instrument doesn't work, fully.  when I went to my local marine place and ordered a new wheel, what came (and what is in the modern manual) looks nothing like the signet paddlewheel and according to the guy there, they never used signet.  has anyone ever heard of this before and should I just replace the broken signet with what should be correct with the st60?

Call Signet in Redondo Beach. They have parts for everything they made and can tell you if your unit is a Signet if you send them a picture.

i emailed their customer service yesterday when I got home.  I didn't even know they existed!
