The sail, the play of its pulse so like our own lives: so thin and yet so full of life, so noiseless when it labors hardest, so noisy and impatient when least effective.

The MakerBot doesn't have a big enough plate to do it in one piece, that is why I was wondering if a two piece solution would be acceptable to the masses.  They are coming out with a large form in the spring, but at double the price of the current model.  The fun thing with the 3D printer is using the "wood" filament.  Depending on the temperature you set it at, you can make a darn good looking piece of teak.
