Getting your picture on your posts.

I recently received an email asking how to get one's picture on posts such as mine is at the left.  Here's how it's done.

1.  Post a picture, no more than 48 pixels by 48 pixels somewhere on the web.  NOte the URL of the picture.

2.  Go to My Space.

3.  Go to Profile.

4. Under Avatar / Picture URL: Click on "Edit"

5.  Click on "Custom Avatar"

6.  Insert the URL of your picture.

How do you post a picture on the WEB?

Your internet service (ISP) provider probably provides free web pages for your use.  If not, the most popular is Geocities.  For a complete list of places that offer free web pages try Freewebspace..
