Wanted to share our recent Labor Day Sail / Cruise. Nine boats, all old friends 20+ years, a few wonderful new folks, and my sons, now in there own boats.
Sailing life is good!

1st night:  The Dolphin Marina and Restaurant,  Potts Harbor.
2nd night: Little Snow Island, Quahog Bay, part of the Maine Island Trail System... left the island cleaner than we found it.
Lobsters and Steamers:  Quahog Lobster Co-Op

Hi Gary,

Great video.  I love bluegrass music.  Before I bought my 34, I posted a sailing resume on YouTube.  If you want to take ten minutes out of your day it is here for your enjoyment:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Th-KGH8Cwk .

Cheers,

Thanks Guys....I appreciate hearing from you. It was a blast and Eric, our middle son did such a nice job on the video I thought it would be fun to share.

We do love Maine and the sailing opportunities you have seen....we are happy to share the experience...either by video or, if visiting in our area, the opportunity to join us on Kije is open to the C34 Board. It seems a good idea to say "thankyou" by way of sharing the video and a sailing opportunity here.

The potato gun was owned by a newbie to the group, there were two guns, at first it was a pain, and then because (2 glasses of wine) we are so easy going and because the kids loved it it was fine.

they sure seem just right in the video !!~

Gary,

Nice video, I enjoyed and the music, too.  The LOBSTER photo was superb.  Any chance of making up a lobster gun and aiming it my way?  :D

Bob,

Nice music, too.  Where did you find her?

Hi Stu,

"The LOBSTER photo was superb.  Any chance of making up a lobster gun and aiming it my way?"

Now there is an idea, Stu. What a way to say thank you to The Board! Lobster Lobbing across the landscape!

Ah yes, we happened to be at the Goslings the night before with Paul & Lise and Gail & Randy. They mentioned something about a party at the Dolphin but we were well ensconced in kayaking & paddle boarding at the Goslings.

Perhaps you could jury rig one of those sling shots that are used for water ballons.
