I am relocating my C34 to the Chesapeake Bay area from its current home on Lake Erie, western basin.  I have a steel cradle that I use to store the boat during the winter.  However, they do not have facilities, that I know of, that can accomodate cradles where I am going, and I will need to use jack stands once I move the boat.  If there is anyone that would like to trade their jack stands for my cradle, please let me know.   My boat is currently located in Port Clinton, Ohio.  The cradle is in good condition and has four (4) stands.  My boat is a wing keel.  I can be reached on the forum or at tadams11@woh.rr.com as well.

I also relocated my boat from Lake Ontario to Rockhold, MD. My boat always was on Jack Stands, so took them with me, only to find out that the Marinas there supply their own for all the boats they haul out in the fall. So I had 8 Jack Stands, tried to sell them but there was no market for them, finally just gave them to my Marina.
So basically there is no need for you to trade your cradle for jack stands as they will be provided to you by the marina that will haul your boat. I am now in Florida, where the Marinas also provide their own stands.

Check with the new marina, I sailed out of Kent Narrows for 20 years and found most marinas charged for 'bunking' so I purchased my own jack stands and still use them on my other boat ( which is for sale ).
