Microwave

You can tell that this cabinet was made for a microwave because of the circle hole in the back for a plug. 

I think the microwave would be pretty secure behind the lip but the problem is that the door won't open.     So, I cut a board to fit underneath, screwed it down, and screwed eye hooks into either end.  A flat bungee cord over the top holds it down pretty securely and now the door opens.  Voila!  We got this accomplished and installed the Victron battery monitor on Saturday so it was a pretty good boat project day. 

We're going in the water next Saturday so I think my Spring boat project season has come to a successful conclusion.  Next week, the in-water projects start.
