Chuck, there should be a humidity control option (HU) on your control unit? Are you cooling the aft cabin as well? The only humidity issues we have are when the Admiral sets the AC on 50 in mid August and the boat is so cold the windows begin to condensate...on the outside!

I don't think I have a humidity control on my unit, but I'll check when I put the boat back in the water.
I don't have vents going to either cabin.  Just the one big one at the unit.  We keep doors open and the cabins get plenty cool, expecially the aft cabin.

Thanks to all responders. :thumb:  It surprised me that there were few and small complaints, assures me that 1) AC units are mostly trouble free and well built  2) people are pleased with the AC.
Later today I'm going to order a 16,500BTU unit from Ocean Breeze.  Ken, thanks for the recommendation. Planning to install it under the vberth....like the wiki.  I'll take pictures keep notes and add to the wiki if my installation is different.
