Americas Cup

Are any of you mighty C34 owners coming down to Auckland for the Louis Vuitton Challenge or the Americas Cup? We'll be travelling and sailing a good bit during that time (October through to February) but we would be very happy to try and catch up with any of you who are planning the trip, or even any help with suggestions for other side trips down South. There is plenty to see down here and many people underestimate the time needed.

We had one or two visitors from the States last time round who enjoyed themselves. Certainly the best weather is at the February end of things. We try to make the weather hard for the other guys (that's you) and soften it up a bit when our guys come out to play. Well, thats the plan.

PS. Most of the Catalinas down here are 34's (there are only a few) with one or two 42's and the odd older 36. :cool:

Might just do that. There are only 4 or 5 of us that I know of and we're a pretty diverse and independent lot, but I guess thats the case most places!
