I have a 1995 Catalina 34. I had a ground in my engine harness and melted a couple of wires together and decided to not only rewire the engine, but also buy a new Seward engine panel, but now I'm faced with a dilemma.  I re-wired the engine per the Universal M-35 Owners manual "Wiring Schematics Catalina Yachts #200360"  The old wiring looked like it matched color and connection to the #200360 Catalina wiring diagram.  The panel Diagram that Seward sent me shows only 9 wires coming from the engine but per the above I have 10 wires coming off the engine.  I think I have most of the wires correct, but the pink and the red/white wires (per the Universal wiring diagram) are kicking my butt  Any help would be appreciated.  Maybe I shouldn't have used that wiring diagram cited above, but the previous wires/wire colors seemed to match the wiring diagram.

This very loooong thread discusses engine wiring discrepancies in the engine wiring diagrams in the manual.  Suggest you read it and then come back here.

Sorry I can't be more definitive, but I don't believe (as I've posted before) anyone can define C34 wiring by the colors of the wire !!!!

The best thing that you can do is to start the engine and check all of the functions and decide which functions are not working.  Sorry again for such a poor piece of advice.
