Bobg

finally got to the boat again, I noticied the vent line had a sag in it, next to the tank.  I removed the elbow at the stanchion, pulled the line up elimninating the sag, reconnected the line to the stanchion without the elbow.  pumped the tank, put 6 ounced of odorloss in the tank and will hope for the best.  this could explain the reason it has been getting worse.  The first year I had the boat I never had the vent smell problem, could be the hose started to sag, maybe filled with effluent and prevented air to the tank.  Even if this works, I want to put a better vent line in.  Just got Peggys book, she doesn;t like filters but a lot of the power boats have them in the marina
