25 XP thermostat question.

Is a 160 degree thermostat standard for our engines? It would seem this low temp might not heat up the oil enough to purge out moisture. Any thoughts?

I had a  M25 in my Cat 30 and used a 165 thermostat for 18 years ...... it worked for me  :clap

prh : I believe that the 160 degree thermostat is the standard.
It's only worked for me 20 years and almost 5000 hrs!!
