Watch my progress as I compete in the 100th running of the Chicago/Mackinac race at http://charthorizon.com/races/2008_chicago_mackinac/htdocs/.  The race starts Saturday.  Look for "Donnybrook" competing in Cruising Section 2.  There's one other Catalina 34 in the race, Slainte out of Detroit.

This board and its members have been invaluable to my preparations over the previous year.  Thanks to all for your contributions!

Kyle,

Good luck! I don't recognize "Slainte".  Take him a post race beverage and introduce him to the message board and the C34IA.  If you have a copy of the Mainsheet handy give it to him.  Be our Ambassadore of good will. :clap

Have a great race.  I hope you more wind than last year, but not too much.   I hear the Pink Pony is open 24 hours this year...

I'm envious of you!   Kick some butt!   May the winds be favorable and your beer stay cold.

Just checked the website. He is sitting in about the middle of his class boats and doing well. Not much wind, but still competitive. A couple of the big boys will finish tonight, but most of the fleet is late tomorrow and Tuesday based on weather...or lack of it!
