Hull Striping Tape

Can someone tell me how to obtain the exact color of dark blue decorative striping tape used by Catalina on the upper hull below the rubrail.  The stripping consists of two stripes of different widths.  I need a few feet to repair an area that was damaged.  I bought a roll of tape at West Marine, but it was of a different shade of blue.  Bill

Bill - You can get the tape from catalina - they sell it by the foot.  It's actually line a vinyl decal - you wet the surface first which gives you a little time to adjust the lines, peel off the backing then squeegie (sp) with credit card or similar.  I would replace the whole section

I did the whole boat and it came out very nice - there were a few small bubbles, but as I found out later, they disapear after a month or so in the sun
