Jon,

My '99 MK II has a 10 Lb propane tank factory mounted on the Stb side aft just foreward of the stern rail seat.  The locker is vented through the stern.

We use about one tank per season.  We use the oven and both burners for b'fast and dinner prep.  Oven makes great brownies!!!  Use it every weekend.

Here is a link to a project I did.  Upgraded to a 10# propane bottle in my  Mk 1.5.

The truly ingenious part of Ken's retrofit is the foam at the bottom to raise the vapor level well above the waterline (as well, I'm sure, to stabilize the LPG canister).  That had been a big block for me when I was trying to redesign the LPG locker on my 1.5.
