Kudos to Lewmar

In 1998 we purchased a 10" Titan winch handle in Spanish Town on Virgin gorda because we lost a bareboat's winch handle overboard (only one I've ever lost!).  The charter company was nice enough to let us keep it and it has served us faithfully until earlier this year when it broke off at the base of the big red handle.  I noted that there was lifetime warranty on the winch handles and contacted Lewmar by email through their website.  I received a nice reply requesting that I send them a picture of the broken winch handle, and today I received a brand new winch handle.  Always nice to pass good news along.
