So we did the veg oil thing to lubricate. If a little is good a lot should be better right? So I left it in there several days. Now we have a strange smell when we flush. Not crappy, just strange. Anyone ever been that dumb? If so were you able to get rid of the dead vegetable oil smell? Omygodwhatnext!

Bugsy : Don't know what to tell you on "smell remover", but don't use anything harsh as it might eatup those internal $$$$ parts.   :cry4`

The vege oil covered your holding tank contents and messed up the funct6ion of the vent line.

Open the pump out, pump it out, rinse with holding tank a few times with water through the pump out, pump out again and leave the pump out cover off for awhile to letr the tank air out.

Buy some KO or Ordorless and start using it.

Read Peggie Hall's book, see www.catalinaowners.com, books.
