Once again stuck in Mexico with a US question. I called Adler Barbour and found they are now owned by Dometic, and do not have the specks for my old sorta reliable Cold Machine. I have the gear to change the freon, but need to know the proper low pressure. 1986 boat, but not sure the year of the Machine. Probably nearly that old. Can anyone help. I did search the spreadsheet, but didn't get this answered.
Thanks, Bruce

If I recall correctly the low side presure (vacuumside of the compressor) should run 7-10 PSI. I had a suspected leak may years ago, and the technician I spoke with said that as long as it was not in the vacuum range for any appreciable period of time (sucking air in through the leak), simply fill back to a nominal of 8-9 PSI when the unit is at temperature.  It will run a little high until it gets stable, so I ended up filling to 10, then waiting 1/2 hour or so, and repeating, until the unit had been runnning for a few hours and the icebox was chilled.
