I have a 1994 Universal M35. Time to change the impeller and get a back-up.  Normally I walk over to the boatyard and get an OEM kit from the engine shop.  But after reading some of the past exchanges, I'm persuaded that the wise thing to do is to order some Globe Run-Dry Blues, but I can't figure out the cross reference numbers.  I've gone to many sites (including a search of ours) and am still perplexed.  I have a Sherwood Water Pump model 302648 and the Sherwood site says that the part number for the impeller is #302875.  Of course, that number appears in nobody's cross reference list that I can find.  Can anyone help with a number and a good web source?  Thanks in advance...Sid K.

The more common number for your pump is the G908.  Is is the same sherwood pump used on the 25xp.  The globe impeller should be #610.

From the Globe web site:   http://www.globerubberworks.com/customer_files/GLOBE_IMPELLERS_Universal.pdf

The G908 has superceded the G903.  Same case, same impeller.

This is what I purchased for my M25XP engine with sherwood pump. Sorry, don't know the pumps model number.

Here is a cheaper site than defender for the globe. It also has the sherwood impeller listed so if you know what your sherwood impeller number is, you should be able to match it with the Globe. Good luck.

Thanks for the answers on the pump number and the sources.  I thought it looked a lot like the replacement pump I installed on my '88 C-30's M25XP three or so years ago.  But as I follow the discussions on this site I've become convinced that it is always better to ask and rely on the cumulative wisdom of people who have done it before.  Now, on to order a few new blues.  Thanks Again.
