Anyone have an old wind transducer for a Standard Horizon Wind Instrument? My display is working ok, but the transducer has died. I rewired the mast this winter without success. Standard Horizon isn't making instruments any more and they don't have an refurbished transducers available for units as old as mine. Figured I've give the forum a shot.

My Standard instruments (150 series I think) were made by NavMan.
My transducer is manufactured by yet another company.
(Almost all transducers are made by one of a handful of companies)

You might check West Marine out... try calling their discount/outlet store
that's connected to their store in Oakland/Alameda.  I found an older
Standard Horizon transducer there a few months ago.

Or you might have better luck by calling your local electronics installer and see
what they can find for you.  When I had a problem with the wiring for
my speedo the local guy had a catalog of just transducers.  Hopefully
there will be a matching/replacement model for you.

That's a good idea. There's a couple recycled boat junk stores locally. I'll visit them and see if they have any suggestions.
