Jabsco head pump

Early this month I had a unusual experience when I tried to reseal the head. It went bad after I discovered cracks at the base of the cylinder pump assy and flange of big outlet pipe. This was after spending $60 on a seal kit (new complete head was $120 on sale at WM) This prompted a E-mail to Jabsco describing my situation: I did not want to buy a new cylinder assy only to have history repeat itself and deal with cracks in the future. David Caldwell came back with a generous offer to replace whole pump and cylinder with new improved unit at no cost!!! I plan on doing the installation this week end, should be a quicky.
