Catalina diesel tank for sale on ebay

I just noticed someone is selling a catalina diesel tank on ebay.  3 days left to bid. No bids yet. The starting bid is $59.00. The auction number is 4547737471. Looks exactly like mine. I know because I spent weekend before last pulling it out and cleaning it. Lotsa fun.



This is a New diesel, holding or water tank by Skyline Industries. It is aluminum with a thickness of .090. It holds 25 gallons or 95 liters. The model # is 44788-01. I believe the odd shape is so it fits easily in the bow of a boat. It measures in height 41 1/2" and the sides are different measurements with the longest on each being approximately 17" X 12" X 13 1/2" X 14. I believe this was originally for a Catalina Sailboat. The black rubber closing lid needs to be replaced.
