spreader width

I am planing on sending in the new main I bought recently at the Chicago show to have a Dutchman Flaking System installed by Sailors Choice. One of the dimensions they need is the width of the spreaders. I have searched the archives with no results on this particular topic.  I have also looked through the owners manual with the same results---none.  Do any of the members have any idea what the overall width, from tip to tip might be?  Or, how about from the side of the mast to the tip?  Or, anything or any place I might go to find this answer.  Thanks all.

Ron--Thank you for the help.  I too, thought that it was an odd request.  But, you never know someone elses reasoning.  Maybe, measure twice and cut once.  Once I spoke with him again, I understood that the measurement was needed so as not to have the spreaders interfere with the monofiliment lines.
