I am trying to install a new bow pulpit and I am not sure how to access the bolts on the forward legs of the pulpit. I have removed most of the teak and upper panels to access the back legs, however the forward teak bulkhead seems to not want to move. It seems the former owners applied a finish on the teak which may have caused it to bond to the fiber glass. I am assuming the forward bolted nuts are accessable on the other side of the anchor locker. I hope this is correct. I was hoping someone might offer some advice. Also should caulk be applied to the bolts and washers? I'll look forward to some responses. I hope to tackle this project tomorrow.

Glen -

OK, there has to be a story here - Why are you replacing the bow pulpit?

Trying to remember but I belive there is a small hand hold in the anchor locker, you have to remove the hand hold cover and it,s a bit tight but it can be done. Good luck
