Paint color?

Has anyone tried to match the color of our topsides? I'm thinking of painting the gunwales to cover some worn gel coat. Epifanes and some others will color match.

Not me. But to clarify, where are you talking about painting? The outside toe rail above the rub rail extrusion or...????

Yes, I've thought about gelcoat but I think just doing the toerail would be reasonably hidden if I can match the color. The question is to go with a stock color or to have one mixed.
