Finally getting around the a simpler project, making it over complicated just cause I can lol

Scanned the inside of the icebox and will now play around with the design at home on a computer.

I bought an Einstar Vega, love it so far. Been practicing to scan areas of the boat, eventually I'd love to scan the whole boat and have a 3D model of the whole thing.

I thought about doing this, but then it took me 20 minutes to find the cardboard and make a template. It took me another hour to make the cuts in the acrylic and round over the edges.

Otoh, knowing about your other projects, I'm really curious to see what you end up doing with this space!

100%! Which is why I chose this project to get my toes wet. This in only the tip of the iceberg and the use cases for using the 3D scanner are limitless.
