does anyone know the thickness of the material of the mast

Holger,my mast thickness measures between 4.75 mm and 5.08 mm. The front of the mast is a little thicker,
 reading 5.01 mm to 5.08 mm. The sides and back by the sail slot go down to 4.75 mm.
 This is my 1988 mast. I don't know if catalina made any change in masts between 1988 and 1992. Stu or Ron
may know more about that type of a change. Hope this is a helpful start to answer your question.

Thanks Phil. I ask because I want to mount my mast with mast steps and I want to determine the right rivets for it. I can now count well with 5mm.
