my new Arch is assembled. Runaway becomes step by step to a Longtime-Cruising Ship.
I am a cruiser/Liveaboarder from Germany and I use Google-Translator! (and a little bit my brian ;) )

... yes, it's for solar (and a bunch of other stuff).
I made a kind of pattern out of wooden slats in the port (in Italy, 1000 km away from me) and drew a plan from it. In Germany I had everything welded by a friend who is a locksmith. then we cut the part into 2 parts and brought it back 1000km to Italy on the roof of my little 1 series BMW. I was terribly scared that the police would disturb the transport :) .
On site I then screwed the carrier onto the boat. Not everything was 100% right, fortunately there was a nice Italian locksmith who was able to adjust a few small things for me.
Now I'm damn happy. that the job is done.
but you know: after the job is before the job ;)
