Guys : Anytime that you need some help with hoses or impellers - I use some dishwashing soap.  It does not leave an oily residue and lubes to do the job!

Ken,

Are you still able to get glass reinforced fittings other than forespar?  I am in need of a 3/4 NPS (male) to 1" barb for my galley sink drain so I can get rid of the pvc elbow. If you can work magic, a 45 degree would be even better than a straight fitting.

Hey Alex

Yep I might have one in stock otherwise I need to order some in.
They don't make a 45 hose barb BUT I can get you a 3/4 x 3/4 45 street elbow and then screw the 3//4 x 1 barb into it?
Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the ones you did.
So throw off the bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the tradewinds in your sails.
