size of pss seal shaft

Hi I want to order a Pss seal shaft but what i see is the size 1 1/2 or 1 3/4 and my stern tube is 1 5/8 Which one do I need.

I would suggest contacting PYI, inc to see what they suggest.  They are the distributors of the product and are VERY helpful.

Did the same job in 2020 on my MK II, I used the 1.5" dia.  Good tight fit over the stern tube, don't go big. As waughoo said, PYI are very helpful with phone advice.

Thank you guys. Pyi said me to buy a 1.5 inch and there is a sleeve inside that we can remove for bigger diameter.
