My boat yard limits cradle width to 7' No jack stands allowed.

Is there a typical cradle width?

I believe the owners manual shows the cradle and dimensions?
Manuals are on the wiki website, under "manuals"
Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the ones you did.
So throw off the bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the tradewinds in your sails.

Tmac: If you are a MK 1 C34??  the width of the stern cradle width is 7' 8" .  Ref : page 5.2 of your owners manual.

Hmmmm. I'll have to measure the cradle of the C34 that was in front of me this winter. Either that sets a precedent or they will have grandfathered it in.

TMAC : It makes no sense to limit the width of a cradle, because the width of any sail boat is wider than the cradle!!!  Best recheck the Yards requirements!

BTW, do you have a Mk1 or II ???   Hull number??
